About Us

Who is ESC?
E.S.C. has always been a small family-owned and operated company. Gilbert E. Stang was once the flagship of the company which was formerly known as Stang & Sons. Upon retiring, Gilbert handed the business to Ed Stang Senior. Ed has continued to pour his passion into the industry and perfected his skills over his 40 year career. Edward Jr. prides himself in learning the trade as well as using his education from Penn State University to flourish as a small business owner. Formation of ESC as an LLC occurred in 2024.
What Does It Mean To Have ESC As a contractor?
As a small business, we take pride in knowing that all work is completed by the owners and/or direct employees of ESC Construction only. There is no sub-contracting that occurs for any of the projects we submit estimations for within the scope of general home improvement carpentry. This keeps us involved and ensures the quality meets our expectations for each job performed. If you have an odd job in mind, we have the tools. We enjoy staying engaged in the community and look forward to maintaining lifelong relationships with our clients.
We are insured and licensed in the state of PA. While operations occur primarily out of Beaver County, we ask all business related mail to be delivered to our registered agent listed on our about section if needed.

What to expect
Let’S get started!
Once you’ve decided you’d like to get a better idea of the timeline, costs and perfecting the small details of your project reach out to us by phone, email or text. We will finalize a date and time to come take a look at your potential project! We like for owners to be present at the time of initial project estimation to introduce ourselves and to make sure we understand your needs in full.
Following review, a bid for the project will be sent to you via email or mail within 5 business days. If you’re having home improvements for the first time, a project bid includes cost estimation of materials & labor, intended start and completion date. If the outlined bid meet your needs the bid will be signed and returned back to ESC. At time of bid signing, we ask for 1/3 of the total quote be paid upon receipt as this generally covers a portion of associated material costs. Work will then get started on the intended start date!
We do not have any direct affiliations with any particular supplier or brand of product for any of the work we perform. As a result, you as the customer do get a say in the products we use. We may make recommendations to try and fit your needs as well as consider longevity of a product that we see in practice with 40+ years of experience in the industry.
